Richard Thompson is an astonishing guitar player who has been named by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the Top 20 Guitarists of All Time. Thompson is also one of the world’s most critically acclaimed and prolific songwriters having received Lifetime Achievement Awards for Songwriting on both sides of the Atlantic.
Having co-founded the ground breaking group Fairport Convention as a teenager in the 60’s, Richard Thompson and his mates virtually invented British Folk Rock. His music has been recorded by a wide range of musicians including, Elvis Costello, REM, Los Lobos, David Byrne, and many others. On this tour Richard will be presenting his electric trio onstage with Michael Jerome and Taras Prodaniuk.
