About Ross Wilson
Mr Eagle Rock hits the ground running...
One of Australia's rock icons, Ross Wilson is hitting the road for what will be one of the biggest regional tours he has ever undertaken during his stellar career spanning more than four decades. And to kick it all off, Ross will be headlining a benefit concert at the twice flood ravaged Condamine Hotel, Qld, to raise money for the recent flood disaster.
To coincide with the tour announcement, Ross' third single ‘The Same Moon' from his latest album, will be serviced to radio this week. The previous singles ‘I Come In Peace' and ‘I Got You' were both added to playlists across the country at metropolitan and regional radio. Bruce Elder (Sydney Morning Herald) recently stated - "Ross is unquestionably one of this country's most gifted songwriters" and ‘I Got You' is a "standout rock-oriented track".
Ross has become one of the very few, if not the only, Oz rocker with a career span going back to the 1960's, to garner commercial radio airplay with new original songs in the 21st century. He continues to prove his popularity amongst Australian's of all ages with his unique ability to appeal across generations.
Following on from recent capital city rave reviews, don't miss Ross Wilson and his star-studded band The Peaceniks performing their legendary, hit-packed live shows around the country - this is a tour not to be missed.
