Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band that was formed in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist Pierre Bouvier, lead guitarist Jeff Stinco, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Sébastien Lefebvre, bassist David Desrosiers, and drummer Chuck Comeau.

The band gained popularity in the early 2000s with their energetic and catchy pop punk sound. Their debut album, "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls," was released in 2002 and quickly catapulted them into mainstream success, selling over a million copies worldwide. The album featured hit singles like "I'm Just a Kid," "Addicted," and "Perfect." It showcased Simple Plan's ability to write relatable lyrics about teenage angst and everyday struggles, resonating with a broad audience.

Simple Plan continued to release successful albums over the years, such as "Still Not Getting Any..." in 2004, "Simple Plan" in 2008, and "Taking One for the Team" in 2016. They experimented with different styles and explored more mature themes, but still maintained their signature sound and energetic live performances.

Aside from their music, Simple Plan has been involved in various philanthropic efforts. They founded the Simple Plan Foundation in 2005, which raises funds for causes that support young people facing challenging situations. They have also been vocal advocates for mental health awareness, using their platform to start conversations and break down stigmas.

Simple Plan has toured extensively around the world, playing to audiences of all ages. They have shared the stage with notable bands like Green Day, Blink-182, and Good Charlotte, solidifying their place in the pop punk genre.
