    Don’t waste your money.

    by Me on 24/10/24

The Capitol Theatre is a superb theatre that doesn’t deserve to be dragged down by this poor excuse for a musical.

    Fantastic production!

by Sally on 24/10/24Capitol Theatre, Sydney - Haymarket

A truly wonderful production! Incredible talent, fabulous original songs, amazing costumes (the magic of Velcro!), emotive scenery and immersive lighting! Loved the whole thing. So glad I made it! Great views from seats in Capitol Theatre Sydney stalls. Only suggestion - more padding in the seats!

    Fantastic

by Fran on 21/10/24Capitol Theatre, Sydney - Haymarket

Picking up my tickets from the Box Office was super convenient. Our seats were excellent even though we were near the back. Apart from the expected long queue for the Ladies toilets, everything was fantastic. The staff all appeared friendly and obliging.

Good Music and theatre but disappointed

by Bec on 21/10/24Capitol Theatre, Sydney - Haymarket

I was expecting the iconic Sister Act. It was disappointing that the lead Casey Donovan was not in attendance nor the second to her so we felt like this was a cheaper experience. Not one song was from the original movie so while the singing and acting was good, I wouldn’t have chosen to spend my money on it had i known none of the music would be the same nor Casey in attendance. I really paid to see Casey and enjoy iconic shared songs from my childhood with my Mum and Sister.

    Where was Casey?

    by Ed on 20/10/24

What’s the point of advertising Casey Donovan as the main star of the show, who was also the main reason why I came to see it, if she’s not performing? The show was good and everyone did a really good job singing, but there were no notices or warnings anywhere that Casey wouldn’t be performing. So very disappointed.
