Directions

There are many ways that you can get to Star City. If travelling by car, the main access roads into Star City are Pyrmont Street and Pirrama Road. There are a number of private bus services leaving from various suburbs around the Sydney metropolitan area. Or you can take the Metro Light Rail from Central Railway Station, or the Monorail from Darling Harbour via the city. There is a government bus service that departs from Circular Quay; this is the 443 service.Or take a short walk from Town Hall to Star City over the Pyrmont Bridge.

Parking

Valet parking is available 7 days a week. Please enter the hotel porte cochere off Jones Bay Rd. Self-park carpark can be entered from either Pirrama Rd or Edward St. Disabled parking bays are conveniently located in the vicinity of the carpark entrance lobbies. Please be advised that Star City carpark is regularly reaching capacity by 5pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. If it is closed they suggest you go to the nearby Harbourside car park which offers parking from just $10. From there, Star City will provide a free courtesy bus straight to their doors!

Public Transportation

Public Transport Bus Routes - Private Shuttle Buses Services run between 10am and 1am daily. For information call (02) 9777 9000. STA Buses The State Transit bus route 443 regularly departs Circular Quay for Star City. For route and timetable information call 13 15 00. The Metro Light Rail departs from Central Station via Darling Harbour to Star City every 7 to 10 minutes and operates seven days a week. Park at the Entertainment Centre or Harbourside car parks and catch the Light Rail to Star City. For further information call (02) 9552 2288. The Sydney Monorail links Sydney City, Darling Harbour and Chinatown. It operates every two to three minutes, seven days a week. For further information call (02) 8584 5288. The Box Office is located on the retail level of the complex, and is open 2 hrs prior to the performance time.

Box Office Payment

Bankcard, Visacard, Mastercard, Diners and American Express are all accepted at the box office. Cheques are not accepted. No EFTPOS.

Accessible Seating

The venue is accessible by wheelchair. Patrons requiring wheelchair accessible seating must contact the venue box office on (02) 9657 8500.

Children Rules

Minors must be accompanied by an adult. As under 18yrs are NOT permitted on the gaming floor, they must use the Harbourside walkway entrance to the Star Theatre.

Miscellaneous

The Star Theatre is a non smoking venue. There is no hearing loop at the venue. Cloakroom facilities are available.
