  • Chill relax listen

by Blue Topaz on 7/4/25Port Macquarie - Westport Park - Port MacquarieRating: 5 out of 5

It's an awsome way to spend the day . Listening to live music . The variety of singers is great !!! My only complaint, the drinks are expensive ... other than that , it's a fantastic day out.

  • GA tickets won’t get you near the stage

by Am on 7/4/25Port Macquarie - Westport Park - Port MacquarieRating: 2 out of 5

Bought GA tickets but wasn’t able to get near the stage premium ticket holders only Very disappointing

  • Thoroughly enjoyed the experience

  • Seating was atrocious

by Daisy on 7/4/25Port Macquarie - Westport Park - Port MacquarieRating: 1 out of 5

Paid a hell of a lot of money to be placed up the back with no view, money grab by the promoter to make you purchase premium seating, have been to a few Red Hot Summer Concerts and never had this problem. A couple of large screens would have helped. Really disappointed.

  • Fantastic bands but no dancing

by Jude on 7/4/25Port Macquarie - Westport Park - Port MacquarieRating: 1 out of 5

I was so excited for such a great line up, only to be drastically let down to learn that only those who had purchased premium tickets could get close to the stage. This was not made clear when purchasing the tickets

  • Summer Salt

by Jackie on 7/4/25Port Macquarie - Westport Park - Port MacquarieRating: 3 out of 5

I was disappointed. The bands was good but because we were behind the fenced area it was extremely hard to see their faces. We were early to the concert as we always are. We sat on the fenced line and people were constantly standing in the walk way this made it impossible to see at all. I could have stayed at our accommodation and sat on our balcony in comfort and would have had the same experience. I love to dance but there was no dancing area. I always go to the red hot tours and they are better. I realize this was a concert that children could go to hence the fencing but if I’d known that there were fencing I would have bought the tickets for that area. On a brighter point ladies and gents toilets are better except ladies ran out of toilet paper.

  • Fantastic line up

by Fi on 7/4/25Port Macquarie - Westport Park - Port MacquarieRating: 4 out of 5

Thanks for organsing such a fantastic event. Every act was on point, loved them all. The only downside was not being able to access the 'mosh pit' with general admission tickets, Did not know that this would be the case. My suggestion is to charge everyone an extra $10 and make all tickets general admission and access available for all.

  • Great day!

by Eza on 7/4/25Port Macquarie - Westport Park - Port MacquarieRating: 4 out of 5

Great day all round, John Butler was the high light, an absolute phenomenal performer and musician. He had the whole crown captivated. Loved when FDNP played Powderfinger Pick Me Up, the crowd came to life! Looking forward to seeing g next years line up

  • Program A1-the rest a questionable experience.

by Nan on 7/4/25Old Mount Gambier Gaol - Mount GambierRating: 4 out of 5

The music was fantastic from all the artists. Loved it. Access thought security etc. was smooth in the premium line. However, from there on I have only criticism. - paid for premium based on past experiences with Hot Summer - designated area with access to a bar and toilets, a table to group around. - audience ended up being "encouraged"into sitting in lines...not as a group enjoying themselves. - trying to balance out "nibbles"and drinks on the top of an Esky. - for our premium we got an orange fence and access to the stage if we wished. - toilets were variable - ran out of toilet paper and hand cleanser - locks didn't work or you couldn't work out if there was anyone in them from the indicator on the door. - toilets not flushing properly - nowhere noted for pads or rubbish. - no side screens on the sound stage. I am glad I went but not so sure I would want to pay out that kind of money again for such poor amenities. P.S. A friend who went to another presentation of this show was sure the audience was provided with a much better standard ...for the cost.

  • Disappointing

by Music on 6/4/25Rating: 1 out of 5

I have been to previous summersalt festivals in the Hunter Valley and had excellent experiences. The one held at Port Macquarie was disappointing and not worth the ticket cost. Only VIP people could dance. The rest of us were so far back we couldn't see the performers face and there were no screens. Each time we tried to move to a place to dance so we didnt block the view of the people behind us security moved us on. I won't be going to that venue again.

  • Brilliant event in Port Macquarie

by Sims on 6/4/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Incredible acts, such an amazing vibe and fun event. Premium admission defiantly the way to go. Will be back.

  • A lot of trees in a festival music?

by Cintia on 1/4/25Kent Reserve - Victor HarborRating: 3 out of 5

Not a great idea to organize a festival in a reserve with lot of trees, it was so hard to find a place with completely view to the scenario, also lack of parking. In comparisson, Seppestfield last year was fantastic. We enjoyed the festival but 150 pp, thinking about the service it was too much.

  • Brilliant

by Sandi on 31/3/25Kent Reserve - Victor HarborRating: 5 out of 5

Bands were fantastic choices. Well organised with shuttle bus service to ease hassle of parking.

  • Bit disappointing

by Bertie on 31/3/25Rating: 3 out of 5

Travelled from QLD to catch up with friends and looking forward to having a dance at summersalt at Victor Harbor only to find our general admission tickets would not allow us into the front area for dancing there was plenty of room for everyone to be amongst it. Could not even stand to see without being told to move by security. In the areas that you could dance in the general admission area you could not see the stage . There was no screens . Great location great acts but everyone should be able to enjoy these artists.

  • Very disappointing

by Palmer on 31/3/25Kent Reserve - Victor HarborRating: 2 out of 5

What a disappointment. We have been to the last 3 Red Hot Summer tours and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. The musicians we were there to see our outstanding. - such a long way back from the stage unless you bought premium, no large screens so very difficult to make out faces of musicians. -stage was set at an angle, difficult to see from one side of the event. - unable to dance upfront until the last song. - a welcome to us ‘Wodonga’ we were in Victor harbor! - awful interval music that was in no way related to the music we were there to see.

  • No View, No Sound, No Return!

by LouLou on 31/3/25Kent Reserve - Victor HarborRating: 1 out of 5

I attended SummerSalt Festival at Victor Harbor yesterday and was extremely let down. For a $150 ticket, I expected a great experience—not a situation where I couldn’t properly see or hear anything! The long, narrow stage wasn’t open at the sides, so unless you were right in front of it, in premium GA, you had little to no view. Huge gum trees and a large white marquee behind the premium GA section blocked the view for everyone else, making it clear that only premium GA ticket holders could really see the show. This isn’t value for money at all, and had I known this in advance, I would have paid the extra $50 for premium GA access. On top of that, there were no big TV screens to help those further back, and the sound was so low for most of the event that I could barely hear any music over all the chatter around me—until around 8pm during John Butler’s set when they finally turned it up—during the last act! The lineup was great, and there was easy access to food and drinks, but it didn’t matter because I couldn’t see or hear the acts I paid $150 to see. This whole experience was unacceptable, and I won’t be returning to another SummerSalt Festival unless these issues are fixed. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make some real improvements for future events.

  • Worst stage placement in all the events I have attended

by Tam on 31/3/25Kent Reserve - Victor HarborRating: 2 out of 5

Possibly the worst viewing experience for 150 dollars . Everywhere outside of the VIP area did not have a clear view of the stage. No screens either to support the limited view .

  • Excellent show

by Glenn on 31/3/25Kent Reserve - Victor HarborRating: 4 out of 5

Concert itself was awesome! Premium tickets a let down though, too far to toilets & too far to bar. Could have been way better setup to accommodate premium section instead of how it was done

  • Very unhappy

by Kaylene on 31/3/25Kent Reserve - Victor HarborRating: 1 out of 5

There was no tv screens to be able to see the actors in a distance prices for the event and set up and food and drinks where expensive for a family event there was no disability paths or ramps as I seen quite a few disabled people struggling with the ground I won’t be back next year
