From Brisbane City or North: Vulture Street exit off South East Freeway, or take Main Street off the Story Bridge. From the South: Take the Stanley Street exit off South East Freeway and follow the signs to Vulture St. From the East: Follow Stanley st. From the West: At some stage you must link up to the South East Freeway, see above for from the north or south details.
Parking restrictions and road closures apply in the Gabba Traffic Area before and after Cricket matches. 15-minute parking limits apply in most restricted areas unless otherwise signed. Taxis will drop off in Wellington Road, Linton Street and Duke Street only. After the game a supervised taxi rank will operate in Wellington Road near the East Brisbane School.

Box Office Numbers
Tickets are available for purchase and collection from gate opening times on match-days. Ticket offices are located at Gabba Gates 1, 2, 4, 7 and 9 (note some ticket offices are closed depending on the event). By choosing Print-At-Home as your delivery method, tickets can be printed at your convenience. These are also accepted to obtain free public transport to and from the game. Ground Access: -------------------- Public access to the Gabba is via Gates 2 and 9 (Stanley Street) or Gates 4 and 7 (Vulture Street).

Management reserves the right to prohibit entry and evict persons who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol; are disorderly; or engage in inappropriate behaviour, vandalism or evade admission. Any breach of rules may be reported to Police. Management has the right to refuse entry to patrons carrying prohibited items or to confiscate those items. Bag searches are conducted at entry gates, so you will need to queue if you bring a bag. Please consider this when planning your arrival time to a game. By entering the Gabba you agree to retain your ticket at all times and follow any lawful staff instruction. For full details on the Gabba’s conditions of entry, please visit www.thegabba.org.au PLEASE NOTE: Patrons wishing to bring non-alcoholic drinks to the venue are welcome to do so in plastic bottles with unbroken seals (never opened). Empty personal drink bottles can also be brought in and filled at the water station inside the ground. Unsealed bottles, cans and glass are some of the items not permitted at the Gabba. Please visit: www.thegabba.com.au/About-Us/Terms-and-Conditions-of-Entry.aspx WHAT CAN BE TAKEN INTO THE GROUND: - The bags are to be no more than 40 cm high, 40 cm long and 40cm wide; They are soft to the touch i.e. able to be squeezed in the hand - Water and non-alcoholic beverages in plastic or cardboard packages which have not been previously opened. - Food, but not in packaging that could be used as a projectile ie pizza box - Binoculars and personal cameras WHAT CANNOT BE TAKEN INTO THE GROUND: - Camel-packs and hard eskies of any size are not permitted into the ground. Management suggests the use of soft sided bags (six-pack size), open top fabric bags (such as green supermarket bags) or clear plastic bags in order to abide by the conditions of entry; - Deliveries and product from external caterers are not permitted; - Folding Chairs; - Alcohol – Fines apply to patrons caught trying to smuggle alcohol into the venue; - Crockery, cans, opened bottles, glass containers, dangerous or illegal substances, flares, fireworks, laser pointers, loud hailers and musical instruments including horns and whistles; - Flags and flagpoles displaying political or offensive messages; - Potential weapons such as knives, chains, studded belts, etc; - Any items which are regarded as offensive, or which can be used as a projectile or create litter (this includes pizza cartons, streamers, confetti and ticker-tape); - Items, which in the opinion of Management, have the potential to cause injury or are a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person; and - Oversized items will not be permitted into the venue, that is items which are unable to fit under your seat. - The Gabba is a licensed venue. Alcoholic beverages must not be taken into or out of the Gabba. It is an offence for minors to purchase or consume alcohol or for persons to supply alcohol to minors. Alcohol may only be consumed in clearly marked areas of the venue. Fines apply to patrons who attempt to bring alcohol into the venue.
International Cricket Season ---------------------------------------------------- Children - 15 years of age and under. Under 4 - Queensland Cricket's policy is that young children and toddlers will be admitted free only if they do not take up a dedicated seat. Other than for General Admission areas, parents should be advised that they will need to buy a child’s ticket unless they are prepared to nurse the child on their lap for the entire day. Ticket policies are set by the AFL as follows: ----------------------------------------------------------- - Children aged 6-14 years at 1 January 2010 are eligible to purchase a junior ticket. - Children aged 5 years and under at 1 January 2010 are entitled to enter the ground at no charge, however they must not occupy a seat. - Persons aged 15 years and over at 1 January 2010 are classified as adults, unless they hold a valid concession card. - Accepted forms of concession include: student cards for full-time secondary and tertiary students, pensioner concession cards, Veterans Affairs and TPI cards, Health Care cards and Personal Treatment Entitlement cards. - Holders of a Companion Card are entitled to a free ticket with the purchase of another ticket of equal or greater value.
Thermoses containing tea and coffee are allowed for AFL fixtures. These may be checked by security for liquor licensing reasons. Bag searches will take place at the gates, so you will need to queue if you bring a bag. Cloaking will be available near the main entrance gates. Look out for express entry gates if you’re not carrying a bag. Excessive consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated. Intoxicated persons will be refused entry. Please don’t drink excessively during the day - you may be asked to leave the ground. Please respect other patrons sitting around you and be responsible for your own actions. Throwing of any projectiles or litter is strictly prohibited and behavior that disrupts the enjoyment of others won’t be tolerated. Mexican waves are not permitted in the venue. Please be patient and use commonsense throughout the day. Ticket scalping is an offence (Penalties Apply). RESTRICTIONS The use of recording equipment such as cameras and audio and video recorders for professional purposes is not permitted in the venue without permission; Cameras for personal use are permitted however the use of images taken in the venue for commercial purposes are prohibited; Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who does not comply with the conditions; and Management reserves the right to conduct bag and body searches. SAFETY For your safety and security, random electronic surveillance is in use at this venue; To ensure both patron and player safety unauthorised entry to the field of play is prohibited (Penalties Apply); The throwing of any object in the venue (including on to the field of play) is prohibited and may result in the patron responsible being evicted (Penalties Apply). CODE OF BEHAVIOUR Offensive, discriminatory or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in offending patrons being evicted. NO SMOKING Under the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998 (Qld) smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Gabba. Patrons who smoke within the Gabba commit an offence against the Act, to which fines apply; and may be immediately evicted from the venue. OTHER An adult must accompany children under the age of 12; Umbrellas must not be raised during play; and Soft sided cooler bags are permitted. Ticket scalping is an offence under Government legislation.
