Handsome Tours, triple j, and Select Music are elated to announce that Thelma Plum will be touring the country this October in support of her eagerly awaiting upcoming album, I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back.
The extensive nationwide tour kicks off in New South Wales with shows in Newcastle, Thirroul, and Sydney, before heading over west to Adelaide and Fremantle. Thelma will also be hitting Melbourne, Gold Coast, and Toowoomba before heading back to Brisbane for a hometown finale. The deeply personal and emotionally complicated album is the result of five years of writing, recording, and reflecting in studios around the world. Full of stories of heartbreak, positive affirmation, and in what has become a signature sideline for the singer songwriter, pop songs about dogs.
On her forthcoming sophomore album, Thelma shares, “This record has been a long time in the making. It was created with love, heartache, forgiveness and care in mind. It’s personal and kind of like I’m sharing pages from my diary with you, but it’s time for it to fly free”
On the tour, Thelma notes, “It seems like forever since I did a national headline tour, but with a brand new album to choose songs from, the band and I are putting together a whole new show to play in these beautiful rooms. Can’t wait to show you all!”
Melbourne contemporary, alternative folk band The Slingers support Thelma on these shows
everywhere except in Adelaide, where Miss Kaninna will join and Fremantle, where both Miss Kaninna and Banjo Lucia will support Thelma.

The atmosphere at The Fortitude Music Hall was so positive and friendly. The Slingers were a great support act to build energy and Thelma Plum was outstanding the whole night. She was an amazing singer but also funny and sweet in her interactions with the audience. She put together a fantastic set list of her old and new songs and performed each of them beautifully!
