How To Forward Your Ticket.

1. Go to 'My Account' on Ticketmaster.com.au or m.ticketmaster.com.au on a mobile device and click the Forward button on your order.
2. Follow the simple steps to forward any of your tickets to friends. You can forward all of your order, part of your order, or just one ticket.
3. For a ticket forward to be successful the recipient's email address/account must be different to the sender's email address/account.
4. Your friend will need a Ticketmaster account. Don't worry if they don't have one, they will be able to create an account when accepting tickets.

What is Ticket Forward?

Ticket Forward is convenient, simple and free and can be done on your desktop or mobile device.

How do I Forward tickets?

  1. Just go to My Account and click the Forward button on your order.
  2. Follow the simple steps to Forward any of your tickets to friends. You can Forward one ticket or all tickets.
  3. Remember, the recipient's email address must be different to the sender's email address.
  4. Your friend will need a Ticketmaster account. Don't worry if they don't have one, they will be able to create an account when accepting tickets.
Just remember that not all events will have the Forward option available - if there is no Forward button on your order, Ticket Forward is not available for that event.

What happens next?

We will email you as soon as your friend accepts the tickets.

Once your friend accepts the Forward, please destroy your original tickets if you printed them as they are no longer valid and won't get you into the event.

How do I accept tickets someone Forwards to me?

It's easy! When someone Forwards tickets to you, you will receive an email with an Accept Tickets button. Just follow the prompts to complete the Forward. Remember you can't Forward tickets to yourself. The recipient's email address must be different to the sender's email address.

Just click the Accept Tickets button in the email and sign in to your Ticketmaster account or create a new one.

Important: The address the email is sent to must match the address attached to your account to claim your tickets.

Why is there no Forward button on my event in My Account?

Forward is not available on all events, possibly for one of the following reasons:

  • The venue doesn't offer Ticket Forward yet (we're working on that)
  • The artist or venue turned Ticket Forward off for that event/section
  • The event was cancelled (original account holders will receive an automatic refund)
  • The event already took place
  • The tickets were bought over the phone or at an outlet (you can only Forward online orders)

My friend Forwarded tickets to me but I lost the request email. What do I do?

Ask your friend to cancel the original Forward and then Forward the tickets again.

Can I Forward anything besides tickets, like parking?

It varies by event. To check go to View All Orders in My Account and click the order number. If Ticket Forward is available you will see the Forward button on the Order. However, you will not be able to Forward merchandise or event ticket insurance for any events.

Can I Forward tickets that someone Forwarded to me?

Yes you can! Once you accept the tickets they're all yours. If you are unable to use them, Forward them back to the person who sent them or Forward them to anyone you want.

Can I cancel a ticket Forward?

Yes, if your friend hasn't accepted the tickets yet.

  1. Go to View All Orders in My Account
  2. Click the Order Number
  3. Click ‘Cancel Forward' at top left
Please note that you can't cancel a Forward after the tickets have been accepted, but your friend can simply Forward the tickets back to you.
