The event will be held on Playing Field 4 on Sir William MacGregor Drive, St. Lucia. It is advised that the best and easiest access will be from the Eleanor Schonell Bridge. Limited parking is available at the university on surrounding roads and in surrounding carparks. Please check signage when parking for limitations. Local streets surrounding the university are restricted to 2 hour limits. For access to disabled parking please phone the QLD Music Festival on 3010 6600.

The St. Lucia campus is easily accessible by bicycle, with a safe riverside bicycle path connecting the campus to the central city. Brisbane City Council CityCat services operate along the Brisbane River between Hamilton and St. Lucia. A box office will be set up at the venue for the day of the event only, and it will be available for collections and ticket sales (subject to availability).

This is a strictly over 18 years only event. Current photo ID will be required upon entry. No babes-in-arms will be admitted. Pig City will be a licensed event.

UQ is a non-smoking campus - smoking is prohibited. Pig City is a one-off historic music event featuring a number of bands who have reunited especially for this event. In between bands, rare and historic footage of protests, riots, architecture and politics has been treated with 21st century technology to create a whole day experience not to be missed. Along with the advertised band there are surprises scattered throughout the day. We encourage you to arrive at gates open (ie: midday), stay for the whole day and enjoy the ride! There will be souvenir programs available for sale on the day. The program will be on public display throughout the site. Event finish time is approx. 9:45pm (subject to change without notice). Free public buses will be available between 9:30pm and 11pm for Eleanor Schonell Bridge busway to the City. Taxis will be in attendance from 9:30pm.
