Australia’s favourite South African-New Zealander URZILA CARLSON has announced her brand new 2024 national tour - JUST JOKES.
According to Carlson, the show premise is simple. “Just Jokes is as it says on the label! Just jokes! Come for a show and leave with a sore face from laughing! Switch off and relax”, she said.
A deadset fan favourite (quite literally), Urzila is now a three-time winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's People's Choice Award for most tickets sold at the Festival and a household name around Australia.
“Effortlessly likeable... stream of belly-laughs.” - The Age
“Carlson is a gifted and accomplished comedian - an absolute must-see.” - Appetite for the Arts
“Belly laughs and guffaws aplenty.” ★★★★★ - The Music
Loved every second of it. Absolutely hilarious can’t wait for the next show
Man I've seen soooo many Comedians BUT no-one delivers the laughs time & time again! Urzilia you rock! Let the haters hate we LOVE you gurlfriend! Got to go try get out of my puffer 😅😆🤣
As the saying goes, do yourself a favour and get tickets for Urzila Carlson next time she’s in Melbourne. It’s rollicking good fun.
I’ve been to see Urzila the last 6 years and she has never disappointed. Last night I brought with me 3 friend who I’m sure will join me for many years to come. Thank you Urzila ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Ya
Urzila shared many hilarious stories with the audience and felt extremely authentic and genuine in doing so. Extremely coarse language, and this should be clear if you’re only familiar with Urzila from her mainstream TV appearances.
Urzila put on a great show that had me in stitches of laughter, took me hours to come down of the high of so much laughter. If you get the chance to see her live, go for it, you won’t be disappointed. The venue was great and parking was easy to find at Anita’s Theatre Thirroul.
