Multi-award-winning South African-New Zealander Urzila Carlson is one of Australian and New Zealand's biggest comedy stars, and she's bringing her trademark cheeky wit back to Australian stages in 2025 with the ''You Don't Say'' Tour.
Following a successful run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, where Urzila was awarded the People’s Choice Award for the most popular show of the Festival, the ''You Don't Say'' Tour will finish in Perth on August 30.
Talking about the upcoming dates, Urzila said, "You Don't Say" is a show born out of sarcasm and storytelling from the mind of a woman who might be slightly out of her mind! I cannot wait to tour this show and bring it to your ears!".
ONE NIGHT ONLY - ENCORE ‘YOU DON’T SAY’ SHOW AT THE ICONIC SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE FORECOURT FOR ON THE STEPS – SATURDAY DECEMBER 13!
Iconic locations don’t get more impressive than the Sydney Opera House, and after a massive year touring Australia with multiple sold-out shows, Urzila is returning to Sydney for one night of comedy ‘On The Steps’ – the first comedian to have performed in this most famous of venues during the past ten years.
Urzila said, “Growing up in South Africa I knew very little about the outside world except for the basics, Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty and the Opera House in Sydney! The fact that I get to perform at one of those is one of the most iconic unreal feelings.”
Effortlessly likeable… stream of belly-laughs. – The Age, Melbourne
Carlson’s a master of the form. Audiences across New Zealand have known it for years, and turned out in droves in recognition of that. Now, it’s the world’s turn.– The Spin Off NZ
Standout performance… side-splitting. – Rip it up, Adelaide
There's no doubt Carlson is a slick act - she debuted on the Netflix stand-up comedy event series Comedians of the World - but it's her everyday-ness that makes her so good at her craft.– Stuff NZ

Urzila was hilarious, she knows how to entertain! Well worth the overnight stay in melbs
I love Urzilla, she's one of the funniest ladies in comedy. Real, relatable and comic timing perfection. She puts on a fabulous show with fantastic stories. The venue was the Palais, the parking is horrendous and doesn't account for the sheer volume of people in the surrounding area going to the amusement park and restaurants. It might be a heritage building but it doesn't accomodate for the quality gigs it puts on in terms of available and accessible parking. Go to see Urzila for the show and the hilarity, plan hours ahead if you want to make the show and get parking on time
I missed her last time and so glad i got tix this time. She is so funny. Laughed all night. Love her dry witty humor. All her topics are So relatable... keep doing your best work!!
We all loved the show, she is such a funny lady and hits on a lot of topics that need to be talked about but everyone is too precious these days to do it. If you don't like bad language, don't go. But we found it was worth it.
Urzila is now on my must attend every stand up show list. Her stuff is always fresh. She is so relatable even if you arent a divorced gay mum.
Loved the show, never been before..now looking forward to the next show.
Urzila Carlson you were awesome, the way you can keep a audience intrigued for 2 hours without stopping was amazing. So so funny had a great night
Ursula is fantastic, doesn't feel like a comedy routine, more like just friends sitting around making each other laugh! This is our second time to have seen her and we'll go again! Long live the scabbard!
The lovely Palais hosted Urzilla who took us on a evening of fun. Topics wide and varied😂 Highly recommend.
