Multi-award-winning South African-New Zealander Urzila Carlson is one of Australian and New Zealand's biggest comedy stars, and she's bringing her trademark cheeky wit back to Australian stages in 2025 with the ''You Don't Say'' Tour.
Urzila will perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for a limited run at the iconic Palais Theatre. The ''You Don't Say'' Tour will finish in Perth on August 30.
Talking about the upcoming dates, Urzila said, "You Don't Say" is a show born out of sarcasm and storytelling from the mind of a woman who might be slightly out of her mind! I cannot wait to tour this show and bring it to your ears!".
Effortlessly likeable… stream of belly-laughs. – The Age, Melbourne
Carlson’s a master of the form. Audiences across New Zealand have known it for years, and turned out in droves in recognition of that. Now, it’s the world’s turn.– The Spin Off NZ
Standout performance… side-splitting. – Rip it up, Adelaide
There's no doubt Carlson is a slick act - she debuted on the Netflix stand-up comedy event series Comedians of the World - but it's her everyday-ness that makes her so good at her craft.– Stuff NZ

Man I've seen soooo many Comedians BUT no-one delivers the laughs time & time again! Urzilia you rock! Let the haters hate we LOVE you gurlfriend! Got to go try get out of my puffer 😅😆🤣
As the saying goes, do yourself a favour and get tickets for Urzila Carlson next time she’s in Melbourne. It’s rollicking good fun.
I’ve been to see Urzila the last 6 years and she has never disappointed. Last night I brought with me 3 friend who I’m sure will join me for many years to come. Thank you Urzila ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Ya
Urzila shared many hilarious stories with the audience and felt extremely authentic and genuine in doing so. Extremely coarse language, and this should be clear if you’re only familiar with Urzila from her mainstream TV appearances.
Urzila put on a great show that had me in stitches of laughter, took me hours to come down of the high of so much laughter. If you get the chance to see her live, go for it, you won’t be disappointed. The venue was great and parking was easy to find at Anita’s Theatre Thirroul.
