Prepare to enter a world of musical magic and wonderment as the 2010 Winter Sound system takes you on an unforgettable futuristic journey along the yellow brick road and deep into the rabbit hole this June. With all of the colour, excitement and fun you've come to expect from this amazing event, for the very first time in Brisbane the Winter Sound System staged over multiple massive circus tents promises to be the futuristic wonderland you've been dreaming of and searching for. Expect the unexpected and brace yourself for the sonic adventure of a lifetime as a fairytale selection of the world's biggest electronic artists including Crookers, Tiga, Markus Schulz, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Gareth Emery, Joachim Gar aud, Roger Shah , Felix Da Housecat and many, many more join forces to make your musical fantasies come true.

Crookers (ITA)
Italian electro due The Crookers, over the past two years, have completely turned the dance music world on its head! They are unequivocally the leaders of the new wave of electro. Their unique brand of crookedness has lead them to stardom and attracted the attention of Kanye West, Will I Am, Chemical Brothers, U2 and Beyonce, who have become fans and collaborators. Crookers' will returning to Australia to promote their brand new album "Tons Of Friends", following feverpitch tours in 2008 and 2009.

Laidback Luke (NTL)
Holland's Laidback Luke was born in the Philippines though grew up in the Netherlands. Dubbed the unofficial fourth member of the Swedish House Mafia, Laidback Luke certainlyis not a Swede though his collab with the said trio, "Leave The World Behind" became one Beatport's best selling tracks of last year! Most recently Luke has released on Dim Mak Records for Mr Steve Aoki. Luke toured with rapturous applause for Winter Sound System in 2009, so much so that we have invited him back to rock it again at Winter Sound System 2010!

Markus Schulz (USA)
World renowned for his fresh, upfront and innovative sounds, America's Markus Schulz is one of the planet's most gifted, in-demand and sought after Trance DJs. Enjoying a current ranking of #8 in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll, since the late 1990s this talented DJ/Producer has forged a sound that has captured the hearts and minds of Trance lovers all over the planet. Schulz has remixed the likes of Everything But The Girl, Backstreet Boys, Fatboy Slim and Madonna. A firm favourite with fellow Trance stars like Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto, this dynamic and unique artist is well on the way to achieving global domination.

Steve Aoki (USA)
With his trademark party antics, legendary mash-up sets and quasi celebrity status, Steve Aoki is a dominant and inimitable force in the global Electro House and Fidget House scenes. he DJs on every corner of the globe annually and has attracted a cult following for his notoriously energetic, chaotic and eclectic sets. As a Producer, his remixes are the stuff of legend - from Michael Jackson and Lenny Kravitz to The Killers. While as a label boss, his iconic Dim Mak Records is one of the planet's most revered Indie imprints and boasts the likes of MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots and Klaxons. Steve will be presenting his own Dim Mak label arena at Winter Sound System!

Tiga (CAN)
Canada's Tiga is among the most long standing and established figures in the global electro scene. As a DJ/producer, Tiga has conquered the underground and the mainstream with his wry brand of campy electro and stark techno. Anthems such as "Sunglasses At Night" and "Hot In Here" have seen swarms of scantly clad clubbers sweating it out to Tiga's inimitable sexasonic sound. Tiga has built and maintained a musical empire with his Turbo Recordings label. The electro icon will be bringing Planet Turbo to Australia this June, having completely programmed his own arena of Turbo Artists for Winter Sound System.

Felix Da Housecat (USA)
Felix da Housecat's album, Kittenz and thee Glitz, turned the dance music world on its side as his collaborations with the now infamous Miss Kittin on "Silver Screen" and "Madame Hollywood" Along the way, Felix gained mainstream press acceptance and was heralded by Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone and Spin as one of the most creative artists in music today. Over the course of 20 years his determination and willingness to re-invent himself have led him to a point that has now included a Grammy nomination, remix work for artists such as Madonna, Garbage, New Order and Giorgio Moroder. Felix, a resident for We Love Space in Ibiza, will be returning to Australia for his very first Winter Sound System!

M.A.N.D.Y live (GER)
M.A.N.D.Y own and operate Germany's infamous Get Physical label, together with Booka Shade and DJ T. M.A.N.D.Y also produce as a double act with Booka Shade, having release hits including "Body Language", "Mandarin Girl" and "Donut". As a DJ act, the M.A.N.D.Y boys have released award-winning compilations for their own Get Physical as well as Fabric. M.A.N.D.Y's debut album is now due for release and the duo of Patrick and Philipp will both be touring to Australia this June, showcasing their fully live show for the first time in this country!

Gareth Emery (UK)
Gareth Emery has quickly risen to become one of Trance music's brightest stars and most prodigious talents. From delivering forward-thinking anthems like ‘Mistral', ‘Psiclone' and ‘Flood Control' to regularly appearing at the world's most revered clubs (including Godskitchen, Slinky and The Gallery) and hosting one of the most popular, decorated and downloaded podcasts on the web; Gareth proudly sits at #9 in the coveted DJ Mag Top 100 and is widely tipped to reach even greater heights in 2010. Fresh, original and innovative: Gareth Emery is the undisputed future of Trance.

Joachim Garraud (FRA)
With his technical wizardry on decks, innovative approach to music and penchant for all things extraterrestrial, France's sonic tour de force, Joachim Garraud, is a global electronic music phenomenon. Boasting a worldwide army of die-hard fans who follow his every move and proudly don his ‘Space Invaders' t-shirts at every gig, this one-man musical machine has produced for artists the ilk of David Guetta, Jean Michel Jarre, Kylie Minogue, Cassius and David Bowie. Armed with a keytar & FX units, Joachim's high energy sets are an audio visual onslaught that effortlessly combine the most electric elements of a DJ set, VJ display and Live music performance. The original Space Invader is coming - brace yourself.

Zombie Nation live (GER)
Germany's Zombie Nation rose to fame with the anthem "Kernkraft 400". Now signed to Tiga's Turbo label, Zombie Nation will be touring as part of the Planet Turbo invasion, delivering his analogue live show that quickly packed out the Hordern Pavilion at Stereosonic in November. Zombie Nation is a man of many guises, also collaborating with label boss Tiga, as ZZT and we wait in anticipation, with baited breath for the arrival of the Turbo juggernaut at Winter Sound System.

Proxy live (RUS)
From the ashes of the Soviet empire, from the flames of history, rises Proxy. Post 9/11 rave vibes cloaked in Muscovite angst. A line drawn in smoking rubble along the border dividing East and West, Stüssy and Spetsnaz. After being truly changed by The Prodigy in 97, Proxy is now remixing for them amongst other artists such as Peaches, Digitalism, Boys Noize, Tiga, Moby and Chromeo. Another proud member of Planet Turbo, Proxy will returning to Australia to perform alongside his label mates this June.

Roger Shah (GER)
Since 1998, German DJ/Producer Roger Shah (aka DJ Shah) has been mesmerizing the world's dancefloors with his inimitable blend of Trance, Progressive Trance and Balearic Trance. From running his own influential label, Magic Island Records, to releasing chartstorming tunes like ‘White Sand', ‘Crawling', ‘Lost' and ‘Change Your Mind' under his infamous ‘Sunlounger' moniker, there's little that this highly respected and firmly established electronic music pioneer hasn't achieved. His original tunes regularly appear in the crates and Top Ten's of the globe's biggest names in Trance while his extensive remix discography boasts legendary names like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and Matt Darey.

Thomas Von Party (CAN)
Label manager and A&R at Turbo Recordings and brother of label boss Tiga, Thomas Von Party keeps the Turbo family connected and ensures a steady flow of great new music. He hosts and curates the ever-growing Turbo podcast and is currently at work on his first productions, having recently released his first official remix for Moby's 'I Love to Move in Here'. Thomas has previously toured Australia as official support for the Presets, and brings with him a box full of puppets! Thomas will be obviously joining his Planet Turbo brothers in full force at Winter Sound System.

SonicC (USA)
Dim Mak's latest signing, Florida's SonicC, in a very short but successful career, has already remixed the likes of Deadmau5, Laidback Luke and Kaskade. His track "Stickin" was a huge club success in 2009 and Sonic has a swag of new music making its mark on global club-land throughout 2010. Already a firm favourite of Crookers, Diplo, Bloody Beetroots and more, Sonic C has been handpicked by Steve Aoki to join him as part of the Dim Mak arena touring nationally for Winter Sound System.
