  • Brilliant

As ever You Am I brought the goods. Bohemian cool and hard rocking. Loved every minute. Missed one star as we upgraded to premium lounge and there is nothing at the venue or any information about where to go or what to do. I had to ask at the main bar where I was directed back to the box office. Better organisation at the venue would have been the icing on the cake. Great night

  • You Am I - Still the best Rock'n'Roll Band in Australia

by Hearsz on 27/4/25The Fortitude Music Hall - BrisbaneRating: 5 out of 5

They may not have the massive chart hits, they may not have the international or even local recognition that they deserve, or headlining the biggest festivals, but hands-down, You Am I are still the best rock'n'roll band in Australia, and have been for the past 30 years. They always put on an entertaining show, and in Brisbane, where they showcased their two most popular albums (Hi-Fi Way and Hourly Daily, plus a few fan favourites during the encore), tonight continued that 30+ year trend. From their charismatic frontman, Tim Rogers, to the delicious guitar leads and licks of Davey Lane, Andy Kent wielding a Flying V bass guitar and having the best fookin' drummer in the world (according to Liam Gallagher, and many others), the band, and this show in particular, is one not to be missed.
