ZZ TOP, “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” has been at it for well over a half century, delivering rock, blues and boogie on the road and in the studio to millions of devoted fans. With classic songs such as “Sharp Dressed Man”, “Legs” and “Gimme Me All Your Lovin” and iconography as distinctive as their sound, ZZ TOP is virtually synonymous with beards, hot-rod cars, spinning guitars and that magic keychain, all of which transcend geography and language.
As a touring entity, the bands current line-up of Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and Elwood Francis have performed before millions of fans on four continents.
They have sold hundreds of millions of records over the course of their career, have been officially designated as Heroes of The State of Texas, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (by Keith Richards, no less) and have been referenced in countless cartoons and sitcoms. They are true rock icons and, against all odds, they’re really just doing what they’ve always done.

The concert was amazing. They can still entertain the crowd after all these years. Loved every minute of it.
Gates open very early before start show. Warm up... not bad. So called support show was best of night. Main act not so good. Support act best on night.
The show itself was awesome, great to see the the old school blues rockers doing there thing, It was a bit disappointing we had to stay seated, we tried to dance and was told to go back to our seats, I payed $500 for a spot down the front, not a seat in my reckoning (second row seat) and was told to stay seated, sad, and even then I think airline seats would be wider than the seats supplied, But it was a good spot, nice and close, and the bands were great. Cheers
Awesome night, merchandise actually had decent sizes, most concerts the shirts only smaller sizes and don't cater for the big boys. Only downside was seats were jammed right next to each other. ZZ top and George Thoroughgood were amazing.
Played all the classic ZZ Top tunes loved by the punters. Disappointing sound, bass, kick all mud and boom no definition. Billy's playing and sound was the man, very cool
ZZ Top, you were absolutely incredible last night. Fourteen years after I first saw you at the Kwinana Motorplex, you still play with the same raw energy and precision—if not better! “Sharp Dressed Man” and “La Grange” were showstoppers, and even though I was seated, every cell in my body was ready to jump up and dance. The urge was unstoppable! Your setlist was a journey through time, each classic stirring memories that have been part of my life’s soundtrack. At 48, your music still hits me like it did when I was younger—full of fire, soul, and pure rock ‘n’ roll magic. Thank you for blowing my mind once again. It was truly an honour to see you live. You should’ve been handed the keys to the city for what you gave us last night. Music is food for the soul—and you served up a feast I’ll never forget.
Food was great!! I appreciate the set out sadly the sound was a big let down.!!! Big base sounds yet it wasn't your normal rock concert???? Loud !!! I thought maybe close to housing ? It's the only reason one comes to ROCK!! ...and also to have a guy practically sitting on me cos seats were for school children.. .I may as well have sat on the grass ..we pay xtra to at least have a normal sized seat...??? Plastic is ok but surely you could have got a bigger size... I still had fun cos I stood up most of the time everyone was squashed and commented about the sound ..disappointed!!! Rocker
George Thorogood was awesome, great sound. ZZ Top put on a great performance but the bass was too loud and you couldn't hear some of the words...lucky we know the songs. Should have had more than one exit at the end of the show and with that many people in the city it was a surprise to find most bars closed when we left the venue.
All 3 acts were fantastic. George and ZZ Top sung all their old songs which was great! The seating could be better, for $224 a ticket i ended up with the lady next to me having part of her body on my seat...... the seats were small, too close to each other and joined so couldn't move it slightly. Also, each row were directly behind each other ie one was looking at the head of the person in front...... the seats should be positioned so you are looking between the 2 in front.
Great venue (Langley Park)..well organised, easy parking & ZZ Top rocked!
