About
British Metalcore titans Bury Tomorrow have announced their return to Australia
They will be headlining across the country with support from Alabama thrashers, Gideon.
For Bury Tomorrow, the last two years have been defined by transformation. From the disorientation of line-up changes and COVID-inspired roadblocks, to the arrival of guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist/vocalist Tom Prendergast, the band have rebuilt themselves from the inside out. Their 2023 record The Seventh Sun marked the beginning of their rebirth, but their newest chapter, Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience, is where everything truly came together.
Crafted more intimately and intricately than ever before by internalising every aspect of the writing process, with Carl Bown (Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, While She Sleeps) manning production duties for the first time, the result is a profoundly personal, extraordinarily expansive and punishingly grand display of cathartic craftsmanship.
To have allowed themselves the time and space to reach this point of comfort and confidence now feels like a starting point for everything that the band will do in the future.
Expanding their empire in all corners of the world and delivering their biggest statement of intent to date is the beginning of a whole new chapter in the story of one of the most devastating and dedicated assets to British heavy music.
Joining them in Australia is Gideon, known for blending metalcore with no-frills heaviness and their signature southern groove, fuelling them since 2008. Gideon have earned a reputation for their intense live shows, relentless touring ethic and thunderous sound. Over the years, Gideon has evolved from small-town beginnings into one of the most respected names in heavy music. Their records reflect the reality of life on the road and the lessons learned along the way - hard work, resilience, and a commitment to doing things their own way. Their last trip to Australia saw them supporting Void Of Vision in February 2025, delivering a set that left fans hungry for their return.
Catch two of metal's most captivating forces live in action next September.
