About

With hours of meticulous detail spent on every note sung, Australia’s most powerful all-female vocal group, The Ten Sopranos, deliver the number one vocal interpretation of the ABBA songs on Earth.

This is a masterful and stimulating performance of the ABBA repertoire in a memorable concert where the glorious melodies are re-invigorated and given new life with new vocal and symphonic harmonies.

Accompanied by The Melbourne Opera Orchestra, The Ten Sopranos singing the songs of Benny and Bjorn is a must-see concert

This show will have you singing, clapping, and stomping from beginning to end.

This is a feel-good concert you will not want to miss!

  • DISAPOINTING!!!

by MJT on 26/11/24State Theatre - SydneyRating: 1 out of 5

I have been an avid patron of the performing arts for over 40 years, in all these years i have seen performances which some what palatable but yet entertaining, This show lacked the basic essence of entertainment not to mention the lack there of so called SAPRANOS, The taste in costumes was nothing short of a send up from the funeral scene from the movie WAKANDA. In Summery, this slap together few house wives and friends not to mention some younger relatives had a bright idea over a liquid induced courage at a karaoke night and thought they could sing. TO the ladies, "NOT HAPPY JAN"

  • Worst show ever

by Noele on 25/11/24State Theatre - SydneyRating: 1 out of 5

The show started on time, that is a plus for me. Opening number, I liked it, then downhill. The costumes didn't suit most of the performers. I would have expected dance routines to be in sink, everyone seemed to do their own thing. Three ladies in back row, were they picked at last minute. Middle lady was she miming? also she appeared to be trying to follow the ladies in front when some form of routine was required. At this stage wait for individual singing performances. I stayed until I heard front seven. Another shock, expecting Sopranos, maybe two or three. I do not have a hearing problem but only two of the ladies seemed to be able to hold a note. Show started at 8pm I walked out at 9pm, most disappointing. Only plus was the orchestra, which I enjoyed.

The ten Sopranos did present they repertoire of ABBA songs very well with excellent harmonies. The children added a special quality to the program.
