  • Love live music in Tas.

by Deb on 12/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 5 out of 5

Booked tickets for myself and friend visiting from the UK and wasn’t sure what to expect. But had a fantastic time. Great line up of artists, easy access to food and drinks. Entry was efficient and moved quickly. Nice to see it was so family friendly. Some shade would have been appreciated! Toilets easily accessed and clean all night ! Great day.

  • Room for improvement

by Goosefoot on 12/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 4 out of 5

Love the fact you could bring food and chairs, however zero shade on a 30+degree day was a little average. Sound output was quiet, didn'tseem loud enough. Smoking area next to high flow traffic to the toilets was a bizarre idea. Signage- terrible! Queing to get in no one could see the signs for different queue until right on them, the same for th toilets with the sign for "mens"at the very end which ment men & women lining up for toilets. Also, wasn't aware you weren't allowed to dance if in general admission! Got asked to move from the barrier! Would've forked out the extra to be up the front and being able to bloody dance!

  • Great show but could improve efficiency

by Paulie on 11/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 4 out of 5

There's never usually a problem with how the show runs or the talent etc other than the sound wasn't the best mix or loud enough for the first couple of artists. The main issue was getting people through the gates, you need to learn how to make it more efficient so that you can get people through and inside the venue so that they can enjoy the show they've paid for and buy more drinks/food/merch etc. The hold up seemed to be how quickly the wrist band could be applied, the person scanning the ticket could also apply wrist bands when there's a surge and it's holding up the line rather than standing waiting for the next person to scan

Great bands, great weather and a great afternoon of music but a few things need tweaking with the venue. Missy Higgins has a great voice but her songs were not upbeat and concert friendly a bit depressing. Perhaps the gates needed to open more than 40 minutes before the first act, people paid to see all acts not be stuck trying to get in. Great idea to have smoking area but not sure the entrance to the toilets is the place to be, didn't enjoy the passive smoking as I went to the toilet. Perhaps the men's toilets could be first to avoid all that male traffic in an all ready busy area. What was the point of the VIP tickets apart from a few rows closer and the chance to stand and dance.... Such a shame that there was no where for the GA to dance, why wouldn't you have a dancing area at a concert. The whole thing should be GA and people decide if they want to sit or dance. All the GA ticket holders who went in for JB stood in front of all the VIP ticket holders still seating..... Launceston has many beautiful outdoor spaces, the casino isn't one of them. The bands were great though!!

  • Amazing artists 10/10, poor set up and access to them 0/10

by Sheree on 10/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 1 out of 5

What an incredible day I was looking forward to. Great friends, great venue and incredible artists to watch. But wait! Sorry GA, but you can’t actually enjoy the bands up close because that’s only for premium access. Even though tickets said premium was for special access to the band, it did not mention whatsoever that GA couldn’t be apart of it! Watching a wonderful artist like Josh Pyke only have a handful of patrons listening to him up close was devastating to watch, and I’m sure he felt similar! I can safely say I am not the only one who thinks this! Things need to change for next year (red hot summer was never like this).

  • Great acts , terrible set up

by Qc on 10/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 1 out of 5

Firstly the acts were all fantastic 10/10. I've been to many concerts like this and never not been able to get to the stage, some acts played with 10 people up front, how demoralising. General admin should still be able to get in the mosh pit, and VIP have a seperatted area/ amenities.

  • Disappointing sound

by Robbie on 10/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 3 out of 5

The sound for the majority of bands faded in and out. It didn’t really improve to consistently good until Missy Higgins. That’s disappointing given the cost of the tickets. Sound at the Botanical Gardens in Hobart has always been good.

  • Disappointed

by Lisa on 9/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 4 out of 5

The bands were great, however there was no designated dance area for general admission patrons. Only for Premium ticket holders. When people went up to dividing barrier to dance, they were moved away by security. So not the enjoyable experience it should have been! The only place to dance, other than where we were sitting, and risk upsetting the people sitting behind, was to dance behind the ridiculously tall sound check tents which obscured the view on the stage! It really spoiled what should have been a fun, relaxed day enjoying a dance or movement to music!

  • Excellent music and a great event overall

by Mel on 9/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 5 out of 5

We loved Summer Salt. The music was brilliant. The venue coped very well with a large crowd. There were almost no lines for food and drinks. We found the drinks expensive but this is the case at most music events we go too. Our only issue was that the premium area went along the whole front of the stage so we couldn’t get closer to musicians. I think it needed to be clear when we purchased tickets that general admission means that you can’t get near the front. Otherwise we’d have purchased the premium tickets. At other concerts, premium is near the front but off the one side so not blocking the whole area in front of the stage.

  • Great day out, glad we had premium admission

by Kim on 9/3/25Country Club Tasmania - Prospect ValeRating: 4 out of 5

Lining up was a bit of a hassle and slow, bit hit and miss about what you can take in, no metal drinking bottle but they sell cans in the venue. We had premium admission supposedly quick to go through into venue but, the general admission lines much quicker. In terms of venue set out, there was a big section and the mosh put gated off, for premium admission . So if you had general admission you were a fair way back, I wouldn’t have been happy you wouldn’t have got any where near the stage. Jonh Butler trio, great guitar player but we had to listen to too much of his solo guitar playing, no vibe for dancing. Loved Whitlam, Missy, Fanning Dempsey, a good day out.
