This is a very professional, very funny play, and although much is predictable each antic is delivered precisely and with a laugh in mind, which it gets. The audience participation was great too.

  • Hilariously funny slapstick humour

If you’re into slapstick, Monty Python style humour , this is the show for you. With audience participation it makes you feel a part of the show.

  • Laughs a plenty!

by Poison Pen on 27/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

The cast get the action started early… and it doesn’t take long for the laughs to begin. Acting badly takes a special skill and it’s all about……..timing. The physical slapstick is incredible, the cast delivered their roles with aplomb, timing, physicality and characters were well cast and having seen AmDram plays in the past, the level of ridiculous is off the charts. The set designers also need to credited for their excellent design and build of the set, which forms a large part of the site gags. A riotous laugh out comedy which I highly recommend. 8.5/10

  • Enjoyable experience

by Tahlia on 26/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 4 out of 5

Really funny play! Only downside was my family was sitting on the left side of the stalls and you couldn't see a quarter the stage so some jokes didn't make sense as we couldn't see. I saw this play 10 years ago and I thought they might have changed the storyline but everything was the same.

  • Brilliant Play

by Kaye on 25/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

I went to see this play at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne. Loved it. Not really into slapstick comedy, however, this one works. The cast members were fantastic. Loved Edmund Eramiha. Loved that the cast members interacted with the audience before the play started and during the interval. The set was fantastic. It was visually good. Definitely would see it again
