I don’t think I have ever laughed so much in a performance. This play and the cast were outstanding from the moment we entered the theatre. Highly recommend seeing it if you can!

For a cast of 8 people such a brilliant performance. My sis and I went home with aching faces from laughing SO much! A must see production.

  • Hysterical...from beginning to end

by Warwick on 11/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

Just loved the whole show. Haven't laughed so much in years. The cast is terrific...split second timing throughout and brilliant comedic appreciation and delivery. And the set itself...it's pretty much another member of the cast. How it actually survives one performance let alone a season I just don't know. Truly a wonderful evening. The audience was literally in stitches...

  • Non stop laughter.

by Golly on 11/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

The performance was full on. It's incredibly physical, including amazing facial expressions. There is so much going on, the timing is brilliant. The cast are all stars who have put in many hours to achieve perfection. The other star of the show is the set. The set builders are miracle workers, I can't say too much as I don't want to spill the beans. The performance before the actual show was entertaining too.

  • Side splitting night out

by Brilliant on 11/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

The actors were amazing - how they remembered to get their lines wrong correctly beats me!! Their facial expressions and ad libbing were exceptional - very, very, very funny. I would see it again!!

  • Great show but could not see left stage

by Jo on 11/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 4 out of 5

We deliberately did not purchase limited viewing seats, and the allocation of seats for the Athaneum only showed Circle seats as 1 block with no seating numbers. Sadly we found that we were seated to the left of centre, about 6 seats in from the end, and had restricted view of the left side of the stage. Unfortunately, a lot of the humour in the first half was centred around things falling off and being held up and other stuff, on that left side of the stage. These should have been limited viewing seats.

  • A great laugh!

by Shirlz on 11/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

From the minute we sat down 20 minutes before the show was to start, we were laughing at the antics of the supposedly stage helpers. What a wonderful show… never stopped laughing the whole night. Congratulations to the cast. Your timing was impeccable. Will highly recommend this show to our friends. Congratulations again!

  • Almost Peed Myself!

by Mark A on 11/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

Such a funny show, no wonder it’s been running so long in the West End. I’d gladly see it again, love love love❣️

  • I’m still laughing

by Em Vee on 11/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

Saw this yesterday and I’m still laughing. I was laughing before it started (IYKYK), I was crying with laughter from start to finish and I would go back and see it all again once my jaw stops aching from the laughter. Do yourself a favour and go!

  • Funniest Show

by Mrs Grumpy on 8/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

This was the funniest show we’ve seen in a long time. Loved the “early” start and the timing of everyone was spot on. Take any opportunity to see this show while you can!

  • Laugh out loud funny!

by Barb on 8/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

Brilliant timing and superb cast made this a great afternoon out! A receptive audience nearly brought the house down! I recommend this to anyone who needs a good laugh!

  • A theatre full of laughing people can’t be wrong

by Linda on 7/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

My daughter and I agreed we hadn’t laughed out loud like that and so often for a very long time. The lines, the timing, the (over) acting, the amazingly unstable set and fun cast made it a really enjoyable experience. We have been still talking about it today, and sharing bits with our families. Well done to all involved!

  • A gem of a show

by Tony on 7/9/25Athenaeum Theatre One - MelbourneRating: 5 out of 5

I have never laughed so much at a show. Absolutely amazing and I loved it. From the very start of the show to the end, it was so interactive between the performer’s and the audience made the experience even more enjoyable. Great cast. Thoroughly recommend it to all.

  • Face is still hurting

by Met on 4/9/25Rating: 5 out of 5

What a show. Honestly, I don’t think I stopped laughing the whole time. The energy from the cast was unbelievable — they just kept it up from start to finish without missing a beat. Every single actor threw themselves into it, and you could feel that commitment in every scene. The physical comedy was spot on. The falls, the frantic movements, the wild gesturing — it was all so perfectly timed and so over the top in the best way. Even the smallest mishap turned into something hilarious. The performances were incredible across the board, and together the ensemble just clicked. It’s pure chaos, but delivered with such skill that it all works brilliantly. By the end, my cheeks actually hurt from laughing. If you get the chance, go see it. It’s clever, silly, and absolutely hilarious.
