Victoria Racing Club Tickets

Having purchased GA tickets mainly due to friends not wanting to pay for a package- i was a little nervous about my first Flemington visit it has been on my bucket list for some time and i wanted to experience it all. I needn’t have worried the entrance amazing the weather perfect plenty of areas to walk freely. Bar queues no where near as bad as i thought nor were the toilets! The train home a new experience but a positive one all very were organised -we will be back but i will splash out next time.

Flying down from interstate to attend the races over the carnival in Victoria as the experience was sub standard. I’m not talking about the racing I’m talking about the experience from VRC. Firstly as an owner the experience in Vic is way below what you receive in Qld & NSW. From ticketing and how confusing it is to them attending and people in your owners ticketing area treat owners like rubbish. If it wasn’t for us investing so much money into the industry and then bringing our horses to your state your carnival wouldn’t exist. Then races day comes along…. Who decided to open the gates at a particular time and all people… members, owners GA (once a year under aged who only come to drink) can enter the course at the same time!!! Don’t you realize this causes the ridiculous queues at the gates!! In other states, members and owners get to enter 30 mins before hand therefore the lines are so much better to manage but more importantly the people who invest even in you quieter times get some special privileges, but no in Victoria you bunch these in with everyone. Don’t forget and mistreat people who ensure you have a carnival are treated a little better.

Due to the weather young people just cramed into spaces whether there was a spot or not. Was to hard to get a beer and when you did it was hot. The worst day I have ever had at the races. Left after the 5th race.

Fantastic friendly staff on all four days in The Peak. A few issues on day , which were eventually resolved. Thanks to ALL staff in The Peak

These events should be limited. Far too many people, slow service. Terrible weather made it worse. Getting there was a pain as too many roads closed. Had a very long walk in the rain. Nowhere to sit down as too many people.

Attended first three days of Carnival just wander around Derby Day very busy long lines for drinks walked thru birdcage good to see music moved to west away from track. Cup day Atrium flat luncheon very good not best beer selection also no Pinot Grigo food excellent. Oak's day same area not as hectic but food quality not as good as Cup Day as in choices excellent staff i do believe it is overpriced as there were lot of empty tables on the Atrium flat would we return perhaps not sure

Why would they removed tables and chairs in the hill stand (inside) on level 2, they removed self betting terminals. You now understand why the numbers were down.

we were in the birdcage and there wasn't enough big screens and only 4 servers at the TAB store and no TAB kiosks outside the corporate area , don't only look after the marque crowd aren't you making enough money ???

The Chef in the Atrium went out of his way to serve me a gluten free meal! This was very much appreciated as it showed that he knew what coeliacs have to endure! He did the same thing for me last year!

Great day even though weather not so great. Fashions extra special ..more seating would be nice but on a whole a great day thankyou
