About

Time to dig up the studded belt and dust off the eyeliner - Destroy All Lines is proud to announce An Emo Extravaganza, landing in Australia in February 2026.

The inaugural event brings together a stacked lineup headlined by Florida alt-rock icons Anberlin, joined by Cartel, Hot Chelle Rae, Broadside and This Wild Life.

Anberlin lead the charge as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2005 album Never Take Friendship Personal, performing it in full alongside fan favourites. Fresh off releasing Nevertake, a reimagined companion to the beloved record, the band are entering a new era with Matty Mullins (Memphis May Fire) stepping in as live vocalist.

They’re joined by mid-2000s pop-punk pillars Cartel, returning to Australia for the first time in over a decade. As Chroma approaches its 20-year milestone, the band will revisit the defining album in full, including their Gold-certified hit “Honestly,” which propelled them onto Warped Tour, TRL, Epic Records and countless MySpace Top 8s.

Pop-rock hitmakers Hot Chelle Rae also join the bill, performing their breakout album Whatevernin full, featuring the triple-platinum smash “Tonight Tonight” and Top 40 favourite “I Like It Like That.”

Rounding out the lineup, rising American favourites Broadside make their long-awaited Australian debut, while This Wild Life will perform their 2014 album Clouded front to back.

With Taking Back Saturday DJs keeping the vibes high between sets, An Emo Extravaganza 2026 unites the past, present, and future of alternative music
