Coldplay announce 2024 Australia dates!
Following the spectacular sell out success of this weekend’s two Perth Optus Stadium shows, Coldplay have today announced a run of Australia and New Zealand dates for October and November 2024, as part of their record-breaking Music Of The Spheres World Tour. The shows will see Coldplay perform in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland for the first time since 2016.
Since the start of the tour in March 2022, the band have played to more than 7 million fans – more than any tour since the pandemic. The tour has also received rave reviews from fans and critics alike, picking up accolades including Favorite Touring Artist at the 2022 AMAs and Tour of The Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.
Additional support has also been announced, including trailblazing singer songwriter, Ayra Starr and hip-hop artist Shone, who will join show opener Emmanuel Kelly in a powerhouse line-up!
The band recently issued an update on the tour’s sustainability initiatives, revealing that, on a show-by-show comparison, their current tour has so far produced 47% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour in 2016/17, and that more than 7 million trees have already been planted around the world (with one being planted for each concert goer).

Why not Brisbane this year! Oh shame! I waited 6 years in NZ then relocated to Brisbane last Xmas but I missed Coldplay again! Please please give Brisbane another chance!
3rd time seeing Coldplay, last 2 at Suncorp stadium, Brisbane. Fabulous show, light and sound spectacular and they play their hits giving the fans what they want. Will go again when they next tour. The only thing I would like to see is free Public transport like they do in Brisbane for concerts and sports events.
Best concert ever! The wrist bands changed the whole atmosphere.
The ease in which we entered the stadium and assisted to our area of watching the concert was excellent. We knew that Chris came out near the end of the concert to perform close to end of viewing area and made our home there for the night. Coldplay were magnificent, sang all their hits and more! The wristbands were a major success - well done to all.

Seeing Coldplay again 15 years later in Sydney didn’t disappoint!!! It was pure magic and Chris Martin is a true showman with a pure character. Timeless music set list and amazing production worthy of any amount you pay for your ticket! Downside: parking at Accor Stadium is easy…. Getting out is NOT. They really need traffic control on the higher floors to stop people from pushing their way out. So many near accidents and potential for road rage incidents. My husband and I were so stressed until we got onto the ramp part. Catch public transport if you can or prepare for a nightmare exit!
A great celebration of Coldplay hits. A truly entertaining and magical night.
Amazing experience at Cold Play, just Brilliant in every way!!
Been a coldplay fan forever and this just reminds me why i love them so much. Saying ‘they put on a show’ is an understatement
