The Carlton Football Club is acknowledged as one of Australia’s pre-eminent sporting institutions. It is also one of the world’s oldest, having been founded in 1864 when a group of prominent Carltonians first convened at the University Hotel on Lygon Street.
Known to the multitudes as “The Mighty Blues”, Carlton is synonymous with success. Its illustrious history is punctuated with Premiership glory – 16 Grand Final victories in all – since its acceptance into the newly-established Victorian Football League (now Australian Football League) way back in 1897.
Southern Cross Station is located adjacent to Marvel Stadium and stops for both V-line and Metropolitan train lines. It is a short walk across the Spencer Street/Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge. Marvel Stadium's car parking in Docklands is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with more than 2,500* undercover car parks available daily.

The bus terminus is at Southern Cross Train Station and services airport transfers as well as routes across country Victoria. Marvel Stadium is a short walk across the Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge from the bus terminus.

We expect that tickets to some AFL games will be in high demand, and to make the process fair for everyone you may be placed in a queue. We recommend signing into your Ticketmaster account at least 10 minutes before tickets go on sale to save your spot and join the Pre-Queue waiting room. Please note, the time you join the Waiting Room does not determine your place in the Smart Queue.
Took our 3 daughters.. they had an absolute blast. Being junior football players themselves.. seeing the Carlton girls actually work as a team and be so appreciated by there team members is such a great thing for our girls to see. Plus the fact that they don't give up.. they are great role models. Im super proud to be a carlton member knowing this. Plus the venue/ club house is great. People are friendly and helpful
The game was great but we were kicked out of our usual spot , for it to be opened up to anyone at start of game
Excellent stadium to attend an AFL game and great to have electronic tickets stored on my iPhone. We purchased General Admission tickets which landed us in level 3 section 13 at Marvel. Seating was a bit too high up and some of the video screens had restricted viewing due to roofing structures. Otherwise a nice event with friendly venue staff!!
Elated that my Doggies team won on the night but as an AFL member of 25 years I have to say how extremely disappointed I was with the seating I was allocated when purchasing my 2 tickets way back on the 18th February, the very day that bookings opened for AFL members. I could only get tickets on level 3 and row V (the very back row !). I do know of other WB AFL members who did get tickets on level 1. I cannot ever remember that I have been allocated tickets on level 3 ever and as I am not able to physically navigate that height, needless to say we stayed down on level 1 and stood up for the entire game.
It took 30 minutes to get into the ground, so frustrating, you need a better system
had aisle 15 on my ticket seat 25 which was actually on the end in aisle 14 !
How on earth did I not know about the View Bar.??Great area for pre game drinks. Happy staff - accommodating staff - terrific atmosphere and super clean
