Buying Ticketmaster Gift Cards
Where can I purchase a Ticketmaster Gift Card?
You can buy online at ticketmaster.com.au/giftcards and select between a physical or e-gift card. If you'd prefer to buy over the counter, our gift cards are available from lots of leading high street retailers and supermarkets.
Can I send a personal message with the Gift Card?
Yes, you will be given the option to write a personal message when purchasing your Gift Card online. Your message will be included with your order. You will be able to preview your message before you confirm your order.
Can multiple Gift Cards be ordered in one transaction?
Yes, once you have selected the first Gift Card there is a button at the bottom of the screen (next to the “Go to payment“ button), which says “add another Gift Card”. You can use this multiple time to add as many Gift Cards as you want, up to the basket limit of $450.

Can a Gift Card be used to purchase a Gift Card?
No, it is not possible use a Gift Card to purchase a Gift Card.
Do I need to activate my Gift Card/ee-Gift Card?
Gift Cards / ee-Gift Cards are activated at the time of purchase. If you have received a Gift Card from one of our corporate partners, your card will have already been activated for your convenience.
Can I pay for my Gift Card order by invoice?
Yes, if you are interested in placing corporate orders and paying by invoice, please send us your details by emailing corporategiftcards@ticketmaster.com.au

How do I get a receipt for my Ticketmaster Gift Card order?
You will receive an Order Confirmation Receipt by email when you purchase a Gift Card on ticketmaster.com.au/giftcards. If you’ve misplaced it or need a replacement please email ticketmaster@voucherexpress.net, and include your booking ref. so we can find your booking.

What is an e-Gift Card?
These are great for last minute gifts! You just order online and instead of waiting for a plastic card through the post, we’ll email all the details directly to the person you’re giving it to. We can do that straight away, or you can choose a specific date “ it’s completely up to you.
Can I send the eGift Card to my email address and then print it out for the person I want to give it to?
Yes, you can send the e-Gift Card to your own email address. Once you have collected the e-Gift Card and received the PDF you can to print it off.
Can I order an eGift Card and then forward it to the recipient myself?
Yes, you can collect the e-Gift Card and forward the PDF to the recipient yourself if you prefer.
When will I receive my e-Gift Card?
Your e-Gift Card will be sent within 2 hours to the specified email address. Please look in your spam/junk folder. If you still haven’t received it, please email ticketmaster@voucherexpress.net, and include your booking ref. so we can find your booking.
Spending Ticketmaster Gift Cards / e-Gift Cards
Where can my Gift Card / e-ift Card be redeemed?
The Ticketmaster Gift Cards / e-Gift Cards can be used as full or part payment in the purchase of tickets, and many of the associated services and merchandise sold online at Ticketmaster.
The Gift Card may also be redeemable at participating outlets, venues and box offices.
How do I check the balance on my Gift Card / e-Gift Card?
On Gift Cards, you can scan the QR code on the back of your card for an instant balance check.
For Gift Cards / e-Gift Cards you can also check your balance by entering the card number on our balance check page here.
Please remember that there is no facility on our website for you to store the balance to use later. You will need to enter the card number at the time of booking.
How do I redeem my Gift Card / e-Gift Card on the Ticketmaster website?
Select the tickets for your event and proceed to the checkout page. On the checkout please select Gift Card as the method of payment. Enter the 16-digit Gift Card number, and the 3-digit security number/PIN. If there is still an outstanding balance once you have entered your Gift Card, you can either enter another Gift Card or select another method of payment (credit/debit card), until the total balance is cleared, and the booking is complete.
Where can I find my 3-digit security number/PIN?
The security number/PIN is on the back of your plastic Gift Card, on the right. For your security it will be covered with a scratch panel which you should only remove when you are ready to redeem your Gift Card. For an e-Gift Card, the security number/PIN will be contained in the pdf that you receive by email once you follow the link to collect your e-Gift Card.
Where can I find my Gift Card number?
The Gift Card number is the long number in the middle on the back of your plastic Gift Card. For an e-Gift Card, the Gift Card number will be contained in the pdf that you receive by email once you follow the link to collect your e-Gift Card.
Is my order number the same as my Gift Card number?
No, the order number that you receive when you place a Gift Card order on our website, if the reference that you should use if you need to raise a query with us about an order you have place. This is not the Gift Card number that you will redeem on our website. For an e-Gift Card, the Gift Card number will be contained in the pdf that you receive by email once you follow the link to collect your e-Gift Card.
Can I pay for tickets online with my Gift Card and with a payment card?
Yes, you can make part payment with your e-Gift Card and make up the balance with a credit or debit card.
If I don’t use all the balance on my Gift Card, can it be used later for another booking?
Yes, you can use your Gift Card to pay for multiple bookings until either the balance on the card reaches zero or the card expires.
Can I use my Gift Card/ e-Gift Card in other countries?
Our Gift Cards/ e-Gift Cards can only be used in the country that they are purchased from. For example, AU Gift Cards can only be used for Australian events.

What events can my Gift Card / e-Gift Card be redeemed for?
Ticketmaster Gift Cards / e-Gift Cards can be redeemed for events sold on our own websites, tickets sold on partner websites with their own checkouts may not have the ability to process our Gift Cards.
Lost / Stolen and Expired Gift Cards / e-Gift Cards
What happens if the Gift Card / e-Gift Card becomes lost or stolen?
Your e-Gift Card will be sent via email and you will have the ability to download a PDF version, which you can save for your convenience.
The Gift Card is not replaceable if lost or stolen, so it’s very important that you keep them safe until you're ready to make a booking.
Do Gift Cards / e-Gift Cards have a Start date?
Yes, our Gift Cards / e-Gift Cards are activated at the time of purchase, this is the start date, and the point at which the expiry date is set. If you need to check your cards expiry date, you can find it by using the balance check page here.
Do Gift Cards / e-Gift Card have an Expiration date?
For all Gift Cards or e-Gift Cards purchased after 5 March 2018 the Card will be valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards purchased on or before 5 March 2018 the Card will be valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. The expiry date is set when the card is purchased. Can I extend my Gift Card once it expires?
This is not possible - our Gift Cards are valid for 36 months. Please remember to check your cards expiry date and use your card before it expires.
