Getting there

Sydney Olympic Park is easily approached by road, with the M4, Victoria Road and Parramatta Road in close proximity. For short visits there are 2-hour free-parking spaces located on Grand Parade, Olympic Boulevard and Dawn Fraser Avenue.

Sydney Olympic Park has over 10,000 parking spaces site-wide. Carparks P1, P5 and P6 are in close proximity to Sydney Showground. Costs: $6 per hour, up to a maximum fee of $30 per day. We recommend you pre-book parking if you plan to visit Sydney Showground on the day of a major event. Cost is $30 per car for the day. This cost is for one entry and exit into your selected car park.

Olympic Park train station is on ENGIE Stadium's doorstep. The Sprint service, operated by CityRail, travels between Lidcombe and Olympic Park Stations daily, every 10 minutes. A limited number of direct services also operate between Central Station and Olympic Park Station in the afternoon on weekdays and for some major events.

Sydney Buses operate direct bus services to Sydney Olympic Park from a number of locations including Lidcombe, Strathfield and Parramatta.

Sydney Ferries run a daily service between Circular Quay and Parramatta stopping at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf. To travel to ENGIE Stadium, visitors must also catch a connecting bus.

    While I like the actual venue, there are some things that make the visit uncomfortable. Great food choices (price aside…… $60 for 2 x chips & 2 x lots of 3 arancini balls….. what the??), signage in the ground is good and ease of parking is great too. The toilets were not great. Had a dirty feeling about them, and towards the end of the game, there was water flooding the floor which made it feel even dirtier. The seating is also very uncomfortable, compared to that of other grounds I’ve been to

    Always a good time at ENGIE Stadium, great food, great entertainment, great footy. Easy to get to and plenty for the kids to do.

    Busy day at the footy, even though we're members needed ticketed seats for this one. Easy to get, easy to use. Great vantage point!

    Good game, seat signage needs improvement, to confusing. Need a way to maintain contact with people you meet at the game if wanted, when you don’t get any info.

    On entry to the stadium was surprised by the number of empty seats. Queues at the food and drink facilities were still excessive despite there being a great range. The wing upper stand was freezing due to the high winds but fortunately with so many empty seats our party of five was able to transfer to the stand behind the goals where there was better protection. The significant lead built up by the Giants was totally run down by the fast finishing Lions who prevailed by 5 points. A fantastic night of football.

    Ticket purchase was straightforward. If public transport travel is advertised by Ticketmaster as being included in the ticket, that should also be straightforward. Last night AGAIN there was no attendant at my train station to open barriers to exit the station. Either Ticketmaster or Sydney trains need to fix this. I have no objection to Welcome to Country. However, the speaker on Saturday night was too political. His type of commentary has no place in sporting events.
