Leo sayer absolutely great could not believe how good he still sounds and sings and I was lucky enough to meet him and get a photo together whilst we were both eating dinner across the road at same cafe
Outstanding concert in a beautiful venue in a lovely part of the world, Thirroul.... this man is 77, is in good shape, still has an incredible voice, great song catalogue, exhibits true showmanship, has the best hair…& he calls himself an Aussie. 💚💛💚 Thank you, Mr Sayer.
I went with my friend to see Leo Sayer last night and he was amazing he can still sing at 77 years old it was amazing concert
Loved the concert Leo sayer still the man and got the voice didn’t disappoint here. Enjoyed his personality and the laughs also the storie behind some of the songs he sung. Great venue and aircon no matter what here you sat you’d see the concert. Money well spent would go again 💯%
Leo Sayer still has it nearly 40-50 years after the heights of his career. He was in fine voice and still able to hit the high notes. Plus his on stage banter between songs was funny and not too long. The band were exceptionally good; very much on the same page as Leo with some real grunt. First set was leaning towards his ballad songs so quite moving eg Orchard Road. But being in a live setting, they had much more 'grit' and verve than the versions played on the radio which is a glowing endorsement of the quality of the songs. The second set was more for his faster and funkier tunes eg Long Tall Glasses. Everybody was up dancing in the aisles during the encore. All and all, a fabulous show that I'm glad I got to be immersed in. Yes Leo... you still 'make me feel like dancing' coz yes, we 'danced the night away'... As Molly would have said "Do yourself a favour"and go to see Leo if he's in your area.
