About

Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end after some fashion or other; and to THAT end, all things must pass.

And so it came to be that Australian Crawl, after its fashion, in February 1986, came to and end.

It was a wrap. It was time. A wind-up. A sign-off. A relief. A joy. Funny. Sometimes slightly sad but resolute. A swan-song. A kiss-off; a sign-off; under the belt, on the wagon and headed for the barn.

Put to bed, wiped up, wiped out, cleaned up, mopped up, polished and polished off. That was all folks, that was all she ever wrote.

Well…

Next year, 2026, we celebrate The Fall Of Crawl.

So we’re taking the songs out for a COMMEMORATIVE run around the country.

It’s everything you know and love, celebrating things been and gone; and how time really does FLY!

  • A Nostalgic Night out

by Julie on 26/7/25Palais Theatre - St KildaRating: 5 out of 5

From the start go i enjoyed this performance at the Palais. which is our Favorite music venue - it has so much character . There is an intimacy factor you dont get in a lot of other live music venues we go to .. Music was great .. terrific band . great set list and James as always out front and belting it out .. just as good if not better than back in the 80's ..starting with Boys light up was brilliant --everyone knows it ..singing away .. and the show just got better and better = recommend everyone go and check it out .. had a great time .. and THANKS !!

  • Great night!

by Lynley on 14/7/25Palais Theatre - St KildaRating: 4 out of 5

James Reyne was fantastic, he sang all his great songs plus a new one, which we really enjoyed. His band were excellent and overall it was a fun night. Alex Lloyd was on beforehand, who was also 'amazing'. The audience really got into the music and sang along to all the well known songs - loved it!

  • DId not disappoint

by Dirty Harry on 7/7/25State Theatre - SydneyRating: 5 out of 5

Unfortunately people age and this applies to their voices yet charge and expect to be paid more than they should. James Reyne's voice is still great we enjoyed the night, it was an anniversary gift for my husband. Wonderful night!

James Reyne delivered an amazing show, full of hits and pure magic. An outstanding performance from the entire band. And Alex Lloyd, what else can you say but you were amazing!

First time seeing James Reyne and it didn’t disappoint. He played with so much passion a real credit to him and his band.

Wonderful entertainment for a Sunday afternoon, in an intimate setting (venue perfect for the the acoustic sounds and audience interaction).

  • James Reyne a Talented Artist

by FEE74 on 14/4/25The Palms at Crown - SouthbankRating: 5 out of 5

James Reyne always an iconic entertainer who still has an amazing voice. The Palms is my favorite Venue but disappointed that this venue will be no longer after this 2025 year, losing its casual booths and tables to a venue of seated rows just like all others!
