  • A fantastic day out

by Lisa on 1/12/25Mornington Racecourse - MorningtonRating: 5 out of 5

The music was fantastic, the crowd well behaved, and the event well organised. The intermittent showers could not dampen our spirits

  • Anyone can be part of it

by Ruby on 1/12/25Mornington Racecourse - MorningtonRating: 5 out of 5

I love that its GA for everyone, no VIP sections that have exclusive access to front rows. Its equal access for all so anyone can wander up to the stage and get close to heir favourite artists.

  • Great, well organised event

by Dunc on 1/12/25Mornington Racecourse - MorningtonRating: 5 out of 5

Looking forward to seeing Crowded House and the supporting acts. Did not disappoint. Well organised, quick transition between bands, MC was great and entertaining, stage and sound was great. Only issue out of the organisers control was the people who stood up blocking the view of the stage. If I wanted to watch a TV screen I would have purchased a DVD.

  • Set times

by Anonymous on 1/12/25Rating: 1 out of 5

Went just to see angus and julia stone, and got there 40 minutes early and they changed the set times, missed out on half their set, complete waste of money and over priced, not worth it

  • Brilliant line up

by Tamsin on 1/12/25Mornington Racecourse - MorningtonRating: 5 out of 5

Red Hot Summer is a great experience, showcasing live Australian music. Top notch line up and very well organised. Great food, music an we even coped with our 'four seasons in one day"weather. The bus partnership was a bonus, getting us to and from the gig without the hassle of parking and driving home. Excellent food options. Staff were so helpful and I really appreciated the many GF options.

  • Great organisation!

We'd never been to a festival at Mornington Racecourse before and were expecting to be sitting in a queue for an hour to get into the car park - no, just drove straight in, no waiting. Parking guides there to keep you moving and parking in the right area. Through security and showing the tickets, they were fast and knew what they were doing. All smiles from security personnel which is rare at most events. Venue well set up, easy access and good signage for bar, toilets and food vendors. Food a bit expensive, $22 for a small, one person pizza. Re alcohol, they should have put on the website info page that you had to buy an ice bucket to get a bottle of wine, which was in a carafe with a couple of acrylic tumblers. A great idea however I now have a set that I didn't need 😄 Should've been able to buy a carafe without the rest. The prosecco tasted great and there were plenty of other options for those who don't drink beer or bourbon or Jack Daniels. Well done!! All the music acts were great too, even though when Crowded House came on and those at the back moved forward into the walkways, security had lost the plot to keep the walkways clear. I even saw some people constantly walking between a chair and a blind (no vision) person almost knocking him over but knocking the chair instead. I went and stood next to him and in front of the chair so that they needed to go a little further past him to get up the aisle. Some people don't give a toss about others. All in all it was a great day.😃

  • Brilliant

by AngieLeigh on 25/11/25Seppeltsfield Barossa - SeppeltsfieldRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely loved every minute of it. All artists were at their best I was very impressed with the Waifs and Angus&Julia Stone as I hadn't seen them before. My highlight of the whole experience was Crowded House doing Chocolate Cake. Not sure if it was on their set list or they heard me call out for it, either way I felt elated.... Thank You

Had a great day. Musicians were great. Plenty of toilets that were clean. Line ups were not overly long for dinrks.
