About

Chocolate Starfish are wrapping up 2025 in the best possible way, with the party to end all parties.

For our fourth annual Christmas Extravaganza and our last performance ever at The Palms at Crown, we are pulling out ALL the stops to bring you BAT OUT OF HELL - The Return with Strings Attached - THE FINALE.

The electrifying show that thrilled audiences all over Australia this year will be back for a final performance like no other. The full Bat Out Of Hell album - plus selected songs by Jim Steinman - will be augmented by the stirring swells of a six-piece string section, escalating the rich production to mesmerising heights.

And yes, in typical Starfish style, there will be a few surprises and special Christmas songs to kick start the holiday spirit.

There’s no better way to cap off a stellar year than a party with The Fish and several hundred kindred spirits! Don’t miss your last chance to see this spectacular production at our official holiday tradition for the ages.

Chocolate Starfish did Meat Loaf proud with a wonderful theatrical performance and great singers/band. They did not pretend to be Meat Loaf (I don't like that) they made it their own with memories added. They tipped their hat to Jim Steinman too playing other big hits of his and just a (wonderful) touch of Rocky Horror.

  • Tailor-made Entertainment

by Ronda on 25/8/25The Tivoli - BrisbaneRating: 5 out of 5

I was a little pissy after busting my butt to get there by the advertised start time of 6.30pm when in fact the headline show didn't start until 8.30pm, but the moment Choclate Starfish appeared on stage, a rollercoaster ride of entertainment began. The audience shared the highs and lows of Adam Thompson's teenage years as the band faithfully recreated the energy and complexity of the Bat out of Hell album. The whole crowd sung along to every track which was followed by other Meatloaf and Jim Steinman songs which perfectly reflected everyone's mood on the night. I always wondered what entertainment will be like in nursing homes in the 2050s ... I think I found the perfect set!

  • Bloody Unbelievable!

One of the most entertaining, enjoyable concerts I've been to. Adam was on fire - a true show man & kept the crowd in the palm of his hand the whole time. Chocolate Starfish did Meatloaf sweet justice. Loved every second.

We were not sure what to expect from Chocolate Starfish Adam Thompson and band performing Meat Loaf Bat Out Of Hell but it was absolutely brilliant We are sure that Mr Meat would also have loved the performance looking down from the Heavens. Such great memories come flooding back when you hear all of the Bat Out Of Hell songs again. Thanks Chocolate Starfish for a fantastic night of music and dancing.
